Priced to keep your sending identity clean.

You pick a plan and keep your data, or you do nothing and the account stops sending. We do not auto-charge you at the end of a trial, and we do not delete your event history the moment it lapses.

Not for the hosted service. A free tier on shared sending infrastructure is paid for by someone — usually by every other sender on the pool, in reputation. We would rather charge a fair price and keep your sending identity clean. If you want to run OutSend for nothing, self-host it: the core is open source and free.

Every plan includes a monthly volume. Past that you pay per additional 1,000 emails at your plan's rate, billed in arrears. There is no hard cutoff mid-month and no surprise suspension — though we will tell you when the next plan up is cheaper than your overage, because it usually is.

Yes, in either direction, prorated. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period so you keep what you have paid for.

One accepted message to one recipient. A message to three recipients counts as three. Messages rejected before they leave OutSend — suppressed addresses, unverified domains, failed validation — are not billed.

Both, on separate streams with separate suppression lists. Broadcast campaigns are available from the Growth plan, including warm-up ramps that step a new sending identity up gradually rather than all at once.

On the Dedicated plan, on request. HIPAA-regulated sending belongs on isolated infrastructure, so we do not offer a BAA on shared plans — that would be a document rather than a control.

The software is. You will pay AWS for the actual sending, and you will operate it yourself. There is no feature gate between the open core and the cloud — cloud exists because running mail infrastructure is work, not because we removed something from the code.

Volume overage is billed per 1,000. Rate limits (60 requests per minute, 1,000 per hour per API key) return a 429 with a clear message rather than silently dropping mail, and they can be raised on Scale and Dedicated.

The API is close enough to what you are already using that most migrations are a base URL, a key, and a field-name pass. We publish guides for SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, Postmark, and Resend, and Dedicated includes hands-on help.
