Privacy notice
The short version: we keep what we need to deliver your mail and prove what happened to it, for as long as your plan says, and we do not sell any of it.

Who we are
OutSend is operated by Martin Business Consultants. If you are a customer, we are the processor for the mail you send through us and the controller for your own account data. If you received an email sent through OutSend, our customer is the controller — ask them first, and we will help them answer you.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email address, password hash, workspace details, and billing information.
- Message data — the messages you send: recipients, subject, bodies, headers, and attachments, for as long as your plan's retention window allows.
- Event data — delivery, bounce, deferral, complaint, open, click, rejection, and rendering-failure events, including the raw response we received from the receiving provider.
- Contact data — the contacts and segments you import, including any custom properties you attach to them.
- Operational data — session IP addresses and user agents, API key usage timestamps, and webhook delivery attempts.
Why we keep it
Message and event data exist so that you can answer “what happened to this message?” That is the product. Account and operational data exist to run your account securely and to bill you correctly. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Event retention runs from 30 days to 12 months depending on your plan, and is configurable on Dedicated. Message bodies follow the same window. Account and billing records are kept for as long as the account exists plus any period we are legally required to retain them. Delete your workspace and the associated data is removed.
Who we share it with
- Amazon Web Services — our sending infrastructure. Your messages pass through SES in the region you select.
- Receiving mail providers — unavoidably, since that is what sending an email means.
- Our payment processor — for billing. We do not store card numbers.
That is the complete list. If it changes, it changes here and in the changelog, with a date.
This website
This marketing site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your theme preference is stored in your own browser and never reaches us. If you submit a form, the message is delivered to us through OutSend itself, and Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to check that you are not a bot.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contacts and segments export to CSV from inside the product without asking us. For anything else, emailprivacy@getoutsend.com and we will respond within 30 days.
